The alcove fixture consists of a hinged door and a folding door. The product is well-suited for a shower enclosure where doors do not have the space to properly open outward on both sides. The folding door does not require space from outside the shower area, but instead the door rotates folding inside the shower area so that the door panels fold into a small space against the wall of the building. The doors can be dimensioned symmetrically or so that the doors are of different sizes. When the shower is not in use, the door can be turned against the walls of the building. Doors rotate 90 degrees in both directionsand are equipped with adjustable centring. The centring attempts to return the door back to the open and closed positions. In addition the outer panel of the folding door rotates 180 degrees in relation to the inner panel so that the panels fold against each other inside of the shower area. A magnet seal keeps the door tightly closed during showering. The profiles mounted to the edges of the panel are manufactured of aluminium. The white (RAL 9016) and black (RAL 9005) surface treatment options are manufactured by powder coating. The grey coating is manufactured by profiles that are sandblasted before anodization, so that the surface is as smooth as possible and there will be no fingerprints. The fittings used in the product, like square foot and brace bars, are chrome plated brass alloy.
