The alcove fixture consists of two hinged doors. The product is well-suited for a shower enclosure where doors do not have the space to properly open outwards. The folding door does not require space for opening from outside the shower area; instead, the door folds inside the shower area, with the door panels folding into a small space against the wall of the building. The doors can be dimensioned symmetrically or so that the doors are of different sizes. When the shower is not in use the doors can be turned in against the building walls. Doors rotate 90 degrees in both directionsand are equipped with adjustable centring. The centring attempts to return the door back to the open and closed positions. In addition, the outermost panels turn in relation to the innermost panels so that the panels of the doors fold against each other to the internal side of the shower area. A magnet seal keeps the door tightly closed during showering. The profiles mounted to the edges of the panel are manufactured of aluminium. The white (RAL 9016) and black (RAL 9005) surface treatment options are manufactured by powder coating. The grey coating is manufactured by profiles that are sandblasted before anodization, so that the surface is as smooth as possible and there will be no fingerprints. The fittings used in the product, like square foot and brace bars, are chrome plated brass alloy.
